J.Cole Not Releasing Pre-Album Mixtape

While chopping it up with Jenny Boom Boom and Craig G,
J Cole reveals that he is cancelling plans to release a mixtape before his
debut album drops on September 27th. He says instead he will be
 releasing a track weekly that didn’t make the cut because
he wants people’s full attention on his album.

 Def Jam has issued a press release with the highlight being

that the project will feature two versions of “I Do”.

One featuring Jay-Z and Drake and another version featuring André 3000.
