Video: Kendrick Lamar Interview w/ The Well Versed Pt. 3

In the final part of The Well Versed’s interview with Kendrick, he recalls the night
he took over a Charles Hamilton show with an impromptu freestyle, talks about
working with Dre and memories of being on the set of the first “California Love”
video when he was 8 and more. The Well Versed Pt. 1 & 2 After The Jump

Here’s a three part sit down with K.Dot called “The Origins of Excellence” from the
good folks over at The Well Versed. In part 1 he speaks on the basis for his passion,
pressure to rep the West properly, the Black Hippy collective,
 his relationship with Jay Rock.

In part 2, after the jump, he speaks on the word “classic” being thrown around
in reference to #Section80, how those opinions have shaped his work since
and who it is we hear getting kicked out of the studio during
 the recording of “Hol Up”.
